WE WANT THESE STATISTICS TO CHANGE

The Groningen Municipality was looking for new ways to help young adults' mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health has assembled us, the COvid REsilience (CORE) team, for this challenging task!

What have we done ?

We spoke with young adults and local youth organizations about their experiences during the pandemic. A very warm THANK YOU for sharing your stories! With insights from these talks, we specified the main challenge in the Groningen community today:

Young adults need a way to build positive,

meaningful, and sustainable SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS

so that they feel LESS LONELY

both during and after the COVID pandemic.

With this need in mind, we started thinking of ways we can address this need in an innovative way that young adults want.

High Five without Hands

Some ideas...

We're now developing, prototyping, and testing some of our ideas! During this process, we're getting feedback from young adults about how they feel about these solutions.

More coming soon! Give us your opinions in the contact form, below!
